International Union of Toxicology (IUTOX)

Founded in 1980, IUTOX has 61 member societies representing countries in six continents comprised of nearly 25,000 toxicologists from industry, academia and government. As a WHO NGO, IUTOX provides risk assessment education and training and other capacity building activities to scientists in developing and least developed countries. IUTOX activities encourage enhancement of toxicology education and career development for junior and senior toxicologists through training and mentoring activities.
